Hello there!

I'm Maxine, an illustrator and author living in a small town in South Africa. I'm married to the man of my dreams, who is a farmer. His love for nature inspires my art every day! I have two amazing kids, Leah and Milan, who are the driving force behind everything I do. We are blessed to live on a peaceful farm surrounded by cows, sheep, and some wildlife.

 

I have always been in love with anything creative, often lost in daydreams. When I'm not drawing cute characters, I'm behind the camera as a professional photographer. I am addicted to vanilla chai tea, true crime podcasts, and “taking the kids to buy books,” which really just adds to my collection.
